PSSE Holds Relief Operations for Taal Volcano Victims

After the recent eruption of the Taal Volcano in Batangas last January 12, 2020 which affected thousands of families in some areas in Southern Luzon, the PSSE organized a relief operations program to the victims evacuated at the Muzon, Elementary School, San Luis, Batangas.

The PSSE apportioned fund and collected donations from members of the organization and private individuals.  Spearheaded by the PSSE President, Engr. Virginia Rocabo, the collected funds were used to procure relief goods and basic toiletries to hundreds of families.  Among the volunteers joined in the relief operations were Engr. Manny Taguba, Engr. Ranella De Los Reyes, Engr. Franz Ramos, Ms. Milrose Balitaan, and Mr. Adrian Rivera.

Barangay Muzon Officials headed by Brgy. Captain Emeterio Dimafelix warmly welcomed the PSSE team and briefed on the current condition of the families and how they are coping with the situation. 

“We hope that our simple help could somehow ease the challenges being faced by the evacuees.” said Engr. Rocabo.Brgy. CaptainDimafelixthanked the PSSE team and the donors for their time and donations.
